Ashes, organs, blood, tissue samples. Requires a separately licensed specialist service.
Pornography, pirated media, counterfeit goods, materials promoting hatred or violence. Prohibited under Malaysian law.
Fake branded goods, replica luxury items, pirated software or media. Will be seized by customs at origin or destination.
Loose lithium-ion or lithium-metal batteries cannot fly. Batteries installed inside devices may be accepted under IATA limits.
Most liquids, aerosols, perfumes, alcohol, and pressurised cans. Sea freight may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Loose powders over 350g face additional screening. Some destinations (e.g. Australia) prohibit powders entirely.
Strong magnets can interfere with aircraft instruments. Special handling and IATA-compliant packaging required.
Most countries restrict organic imports. A phytosanitary certificate may help for certain destinations — check the VIP app.
Import licences required in most destinations. E-cigarettes and vape liquids prohibited to many countries including Australia, Thailand, and Singapore.
